In the Series Roundup, we stop short of naming the specific causes of walks in the Atlantic League. That decision was made because the thoughts that were originally recorded have since been proven inaccurate. Over the last 24 hours, ALPB Roundup has received feedback from numerous players, personnel, and people around Atlantic League teams that suggest the walks have been caused by the Atlantic League’s changed strike zone and how it is enforced by the Robo Zone. We’ll continue to investigate this possibility and update this story as the season moves along.
